About House Twelve

House Twelve LLC is an independent software studio, a small team of friends who wanted to build something worth feeling. We design, write, and engineer original mobile apps entirely in-house, and we hold every one of them to a single measure: did it make you feel something?

The dream

Most software is built to be used: opened out of habit, optimized for attention, forgotten by lunch. We started House Twelve to make the other kind. We want an app of ours to land the way a song or a place can: as an experience you remember, not a tool you operated. That's the whole dream, and it's why the studio exists.

The name

In astrology, the twelfth house governs the inner life: rest, dreams, and the parts of ourselves that don't show up on the surface. That's the territory our apps live in: quiet moments, private rituals, small daily practices. The name is a promise about what we make.

How we work

We're a small team, and we like it that way. Every product is conceived, designed, and engineered by the same hands, which means nothing ships that didn't move us first. We favor:

• Feeling first. Every project starts with the emotion it should leave behind. Features have to earn their place after that.
• Craft over scale. A few experiences made carefully, not a portfolio made quickly.
• Original content. The words and designs in our apps are written in-house. Our first app alone carries six hundred original affirmations.
• Respect for attention. Our apps are meant to be opened, felt, and put down. We'd rather you leave feeling better than stay longer.

What we're building

Our first title, aligned: celestial affirmations, pairs daily affirmations with your birth chart. Six hundred of them, written by us, one set for every placement and sign. It's in active development for iOS and Android, and it's our first attempt at the dream: a quiet moment, made just for you. You can read more about it on our home page.
